I pride myself on being smart in business. Someone pitched me a deal recently, and all the visible evidence looked flawless. I didn't even bother to pray about it. I just signed. Turns out, it was a massive scam. I read Joshua 9 today. The leaders of Israel were approached by the Gibeonites. These guys wore worn-out clothes and brought dry, moldy bread to prove they had traveled from a distant, peaceful country. It looked perfectly legitimate. The Bible drops this devastating sentence: "The Israelites sampled their provisions but did not inquire of the Lord." They signed a binding peace treaty with their actual enemies. Your eyes will lie to you. Logic can be manipulated. Never sign the contract without asking God first. #BusinessFaith #Joshua9 #ChristianEntrepreneur #SeekGodFirst
